UIC Law/National Anti-Vivisection Society Research for Animal Advocacy (NAVS) Collection

In collaboration with the National Anti-Vivisection Society (NAVS), the library maintains a special collection of materials relating to animal rights and animal law. These materials are located on the 6th floor of the library. This collection is open to patrons not affiliated with UIC Law or non-CBA members by appointment only. Please contact NAVS in advance for permission to use the collection. Please also see the Library Access Policy.

Academic Success Collection

Study aids are on reserve in the academic success collection on the 6th floor.

Careers Collection

Titles in the careers collection are located on the 6th floor and in the Career Services Department.

Chinese Intellectual Property Collection

This collection contains materials in Chinese that are exclusively on intellectual property topics. Included in the exhibit are books by Law School alumni Dongtao Li and Guangliang Zhang. Many of the materials in the collection were published by the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) of the People’s Republic of China. SIPO materials were donated to our library through the coordination of Dorothy Li, former Co-Executive Director of the Law School's Asian Alliance Program and former library director.

Popular Reading Collection

The popular reading collection on the 6th floor contains interesting books and movies on the law, lawyers, and Chicago.
